Intended Use: Alkaline Phosphatase Test Kit (AMP Buffer Method) is intended for quantitative in vitro determination of ALP concentration in serum on photometric systems and auxiliary diagnosis for hepatic and gall diseases or bone diseases. ALP distributes broadly in tissues. For healthy adults, ALP in serum mainly comes from the liver and bone. For children in growing period, ALP comes mainly from osteoblasts or chondrocytes and partly from the liver. When obstructive jaundice, acute or chronic icterohepatitis, liver cancer or some other hepatobiliary system diseases and osteitis fibrosa, rickets, metastatic bone cancer or some other bone system diseases happens, the activity of ALP will increase in varying degrees.
