Intended Use: Uric acid Test Kit (Uricase-Peroxidase Coupling Method) is intended for quantitative in vitro determination of UA concentration in serum on photometric systems and auxiliary diagnosis for hyperuricemia. The uric acid is the final metabolite of purine. The uric acid in blood will be filtered by glomerulus except for partly liver damaging. Disturbance of purine metabolism and diminished renal excretion of UC may lead to hyperuricemia. Increasing UA in serum can be seen in primary gout, leukemia, multiple myeloma and decreased renal function. Meanwhile, the decreasing situation can be seen in Fancini syndrome and the lack of congenital enzyme xanthine oxidase or purine nucleotide phosphate enzyme, etc.
