The HBsAg Rapid Test is a serological, lateral flow chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of hepatitis B virus  surface antigen (HBsAg) in human whole blood, serum, or plasma specimens to aid in the diagnosis of infection with hepatitis B virus (HBV).
